**Interview Study seeks spouses or intimate partners of National Guard members**

There is a new study about the experiences of spouses or intimate partners of National Guard members with a mental health diagnosis that could help care providers like doctors and counselors better understand and help their patients. For this study, you are invited to describe your experiences in supporting the National Guard member in seeking treatment and the impact on the relationship. Participants will receive a $20 visa gift card once they complete the interview process.

About the study:

• One 60–90-minute face-to-face, virtual, or phone interview that will be audio recorded (no video recording)

• To protect your privacy, the published study will not share any names or details that identify you.

Volunteers must meet these requirements:

• 18 years old or older

• Be a spouse or intimate partner of an active, inactive, retired, or former National Guard member.

• National Guard member has been diagnosed with any mental health related issue.

This interview is part of the doctoral study for Christy Sutton, a Ph.D. student at Walden University. Interviews will take place during February 2024. IRB approval #01-23-24-1014012.
